Lotus Bakeries UK, Wilmslow

Brand-led environments

Lotus Bakeries UK Ltd

Contract Period

9 weeks

Lotus Bakeries has moved its UK head office to 51 Water Lane, Wilmslow, and appointed Flexible Business Interiors to deliver a Cat A and Bat B fit out to the 5000 sq ft first floor suite.

Completed over a 9 week period, and working alongside BlueSky Design, the project comprise the installation of decorative branding and feature lighting as well as the creation of a contemporary open plan workspace, a variety of formal and informal meeting areas, a staff kitchen and WC’s. Light oak finishes, full height glazed partitions and red metal work accents complement the warm colour palette used throughout to reflect the Lotus Bakeries brand and to create a welcoming space.

Improvements to the M&E set up included a new air conditioning system throughout. FBI also provided a full furniture package for the client.

Lotus Bakeries has had premises in the North West for 16 years and is well-known for its indulgent snacking brands such as Lotus Biscoff Biscuits, Spreads, Ice Cream and Chocolate. A team of 15 staff is based at the new Wilmslow office working across marketing, retail and customer service.

“Moving to Water Lane has been a great experience for us and we are delighted with the results. It was important for us to create an environment that would support our staff better, and boost morale and productivity through giving individuals a variety of spaces to work from and socialise in. Having dedicated space to welcome guests into that instantly gives them an insight into our brand and our values was also key and the feedback we have had has been hugely positive.

“Flexible Business Interiors and Bluesky Design were easy to work with, were dedicated to delivering a high-quality scheme within our budget and time targets, and the end result is above and beyond what we had hoped for.”
