Project:

Ask Real Estate, the independent property developer, instructed Flexible Business Interiors in 2021 to deliver a complete refurbishment of its head office.

The first-floor suite at 7 Constance Street in Manchester city centre was designed by Jon Matthews Architects and has created a stylish, open-plan office space which is accompanied by a number of enclosed meeting rooms, social breakout spaces and a staff kitchen. Warm wooden flooring and crittall glazed partitions have been installed to complement the exposed brick work and ceilings, while contemporary loose furniture and statement lighting has been used to modernise the environment. Planting throughout the workspace, and a moss embossed logo in the boardroom softens the strong lines within the office, gives connection to the outside world and promotes a sense of wellbeing.

Works to the circa 2,000 sq ft space took just three weeks to complete and the project was delivered on time and on budget.

John Hughes, Managing Director of Ask Real Estate, added: “As a business we demand a lot from our team and so to be able to provide them with a first-class office environment, a place that motivates and inspires them, is really important to us. We wanted a space that was light and bright, that offered a variety of work settings and would allow us to host clients comfortably. The new office, closely located to our flagship development at First Street, does all of this and more, and we are so pleased with the outcome. Flexible Business Interiors and Jon Matthews Architects were great to work with and the quality of what has been delivered has far exceeded our expectations.”
