The team at Soapworks needed a solution to the cold/draughty lobby which had originally been installed when the building was first developed some 15 years ago . Avison Young Building Consultants brought on board FBI to carry out the design and build of a tricky retro-fit steel/glass lobby in the heart of the occupied office.
Using 22mm thick laminated heat soaked glass coupled with two pairs of dual sliding auto doors, the team managed to create a fully enclosed lobby which looks like it’s always been part of the building design… but without draughts!
