101 Embankment in Full Swing

We are pleased to announce the completion of Phase 1 works at 101 Embankment and the commencement of Phase 2. Both instructions have been made by landlord M&G Real Estate via Hollis.

Delivered in 20 weeks Phase 1 included the refurbishment of two floors of the 167,500  sq ft building in Manchester city centre to Cat A standard and improvement works were made to the WC’s.

Phase 2, which has been designed by AXI Studio and is expected to take a further 20 weeks to complete, will see the ground floor transformed into a light, modern, double height arrival space featuring a neutral colour palette, sleek lines, natural wood finishes, solid surface welcome desk and tiled walls. Full height faux trees and touches of brass will add to the scheme’s luxury feel.

In addition, a cycle store and shower facilities have been installed for the benefit of tenants.

As part of this project, FBI managed to donate six Italian leather sofas to Sue Ryder, the British palliative, neurological and bereavement support charity, to sell in their local stores. The furniture items were destined for the skip as part of the strip out, so by donating them to charity the team has reduced waste created by the job and helped raise much needed funds for the charity.
